This initiative stands in contrast to recent development projects and fosters cultural exchange by bringing together people from various backgrounds. Never skated before? No worries, it’s open to everyone, from beginners to professionals. Even if you’re not into skating, it’s worth a visit to soak up the sun, chill out, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere while watching the skaters. If you’re looking for guidance on your skating journey, you can book lessons with experienced surf instructors, suitable for all ages and skill levels. From up there, you can admire the panoramic view of Thagazout and feel the gentle ocean breeze while watching the distant waves. It’s a must-visit destination for anyone looking to hang out with friends, enjoy good music, and skate amidst breathtaking scenery. The park’s organizers are also receptive to new ideas for events, parties, and celebrations.

The park was constructed around 2017 to address the evident need for a skatepark in Thagazout’s well-known skate community. With the help of over 90 volunteers from around the world, the project was completed in just three weeks.

Wondering when’s the best time to visit? For skating enthusiasts, mornings are ideal as there are fewer people, allowing for uninterrupted practice. In the afternoon, the park comes alive with spectators enjoying music and the vibrant atmosphere. A particularly magical time to visit is during sunset, where you’ll feel transported to another world, captivated by talented skaters against the backdrop of the setting sun.

Don’t have your own skateboard? Not a problem! You can rent everything you need from a nearby shop next to the skatepark.
